At Plant By Contree, we attempt to arrest the rate of deforestation and rising global temperature by promoting green practices actively. Under our Sustainable Afforestation initiative, we have directly planted over 60,000 saplings and supported plant distribution of over 1 Lakh saplings.
The biggest challenges with sustainable plantation initiatives are lack of available land and proper watering and maintenance. At Plant By Contree, we deploy the Miyawaki Technique of forestation to ensure fast growing, large and dense forests in smaller land parcels, requiring lesser post-plantation resources. We also ensure round the year maintenance of our saplings as per the scientific norms of Miyawaki forestation.
Additionally, we also engage volunteers in other green activities such as Seed Balls making workshops; Seed Collection and sowing drives; and cleanliness drives of eco-spaces. Each sapling planted, seed sown, and clean-up drive conducted helps transform urban areas into green sanctuaries.

Degraded urban plots, school grounds, or roadsides selected with community and civic bodies.
Prepare the Soil
Soil is enriched with compost and biomass. No pesticides — only organic preparation to revive the ground.
Plant Native Species
10x denser than conventional planting. Saplings chosen for local climate and soil — they compete and grow fast.
Community Stewardship
Citizens adopt the forest. After 2–3 years it becomes fully self-sustaining — no watering, no maintenance.
