Sarkari School Makeover

Revitalizing government schools into vibrant hubs of creativity & curiosity through community magic

Unlocking the potential of a nation begins with nurturing the potential of its youth. Yet, for far too long, many government schools have labored under the weight of neglect, lacking the resources and environment necessary to inspire and empower our future leaders. It's time to rewrite this narrative. With determination and vision, Contree launches a transformative campaign to revitalize government schools, not just as places of learning, but as vibrant hubs of creativity and opportunity. Supported by hyper-local volunteering, we embark on a mission to revitalize, renovate, and rejuvenate these schools, turning them into beacons of excellence that nurture the minds and hearts of generations to come.

Under this project, worn-out government schools are cleaned and beautified with the help of school students, teachers, corporate employees, and other community volunteers. Based on the building-as-learning-aid (BALA) concept, classroom and corridor walls are painted with interactive academic illustrations, serving as teaching-learning material (TLM) for both teachers and students. The objective is to not only enhance the physical environment but also to nudge the curiosity of students and encourage greater attendance.
